Job summary

BSW Group in Ellesmere Port is seeking a Machine Operator to safely and efficiently produce pallets and wood products using automated and semi-automated machinery. You will follow work orders, maintain quality standards, and work closely with supervisors to meet output targets.

The role requires good timekeeping, strong attention to detail and strict adherence to Health and Safety procedures, including PPE. A positive, team-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating woodworking machinery and following work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Excellent timekeeping and Health and Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and semi-automated machinery to manufacture pallets and wood products.
• Ensure that production output and quality meet customer standards and design specifications.
• Identify and report equipment issues to line manager promptly.
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures on site, including PPE.
