Job summary

BSW Group is seeking a Manual Assembly Operative to join our Manufacturing team at the Ellesmere Port site. You will safely and accurately manufacture pallets/wood products using the provided tools and equipment, ensuring output meets customer standards and design specifications as documented in the work orders.

You will set up benches efficiently, follow quality standards, and report any equipment issues to your line manager. A can-do attitude and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Working effectively with others to meet production targets.
• Excellent time-keeping and attendance record.
• High level of health and safety awareness.
• Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately manufacture pallets/wood products using provided tools and equipment.
• Carry out efficient bench set-ups and ensure information on quality standards and output levels is followed.
• Identify and report any equipment problems to the line manager promptly.
• Carry out tasks delegated by Production Supervisors/Managers while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a ManualAssembly Operative to join our Manufacturing team at our Ellesmere Port site.

This role will be responsible for safely and accurately manufacturing pallets/wood products using the tools and equipment provided. You will ensure that you work at an optimum level to maximise output whilst complying with customer standards and design specifications as documented in the work orders.

As a Manual Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for efficient bench set ups and ensuring that you have all necessary information required regarding quality standards and output levels, to enable you to carry out your role correctly and accurately.

You will also need to promptly identify and report any problems with equipment to your line manager.

You will play a key part in the team to undertake all tasks that are delegated to you by the Production Supervisors and Managers on site and always adhere to our Health and Safety Procedures and Policies to maintain the required high safety standards, which includes wearing your Personal Protective Equipment when stipulated.

Working effectively with others, you will also have excellent time keeping and attendance record and demonstrate a high level of Health and Safety awareness. A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail are key to success.
