AE Partners is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our fabrication team in the United Kingdom. You will weld metal components using TIG, read blueprints, and work with various metals to produce high-quality structures.

The role requires safe work practices, tool use, and the ability to interpret drawings and measurements. You will collaborate with the shop floor team to ensure precision and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience with strong technique.
• Familiarity with stick welding as a supplementary skill.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and metal finishing techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform basic math for measurements/tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on sheet metal and structural components to meet specs.
• Utilize stick welding when required for material variation or repairs.
• Operate tools and welding equipment safely during fabrication and assembly.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide welding and assembly work.
• Assist in fabricating parts by cutting, shaping and assembling materials.
• Conduct quality inspections of welds and finished products for safety and specs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following safety protocols.
