Wentworth James Group is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in Attenborough, United Kingdom. You will perform precise TIG welding on a variety of metals, reading technical drawings and ensuring weld quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in TIG welding with safety procedures.
Knowledge of stick welding as complementary skill.
Read technical drawings/blueprints accurately.
Basic math for measurements and quality checks.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication is desirable.

Responsibilities

Execute TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum and other alloys with strong, clean welds.
Utilize hand tools, power tools and welding equipment to prepare materials for welding.
Assist in fabrication of sheet metal components and assemblies per drawings.
Perform stick welding when needed to complete tasks or repairs.
Inspect welds for quality and adherence to safety standards; adjust as needed.
Support assembly by fitting and aligning parts before welding.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment and proper tool storage.
