Job summary

OLG Recruitment are seeking an Industrial Slitting Operator for our client in Elsham. This permanent role offers a 42-hour average week with 4 on/4 off shifts (2 days, 2 nights). Overtime is paid at 1.5x and bank holidays at 2x.

Responsibilities include setting up, running, inspecting and recording production, while maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Candidates should have previous slitting experience or similar manufacturing exposure, good attention to detail, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Experience operating slitting would be preferred or experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to work alone or in a team and meet demanding deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy, right-first-time mindset.

Responsibilities

• Select film, materials and operating supplies according to job specification.
• Set up machine safely and efficiently.
• Carry out process inspection checks to ensure product meets specs.
• Unload and record product; palletise/package per requirements.
• Complete production reports in Mills system for time and product ID.
• Keep machine and area clean and safe; monitor operation and troubleshoot if needed.
• Inform maintenance of any work required to prevent breakdowns.
