The role involves manufacturing and assembling high-quality sheet metal components to engineering drawings, using sheet metal machinery and hand tools, and ensuring quality standards are met.

The candidate should read drawings, operate relevant machinery, and work with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Experience operating sheet metal machinery and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and fabricate sheet metal components from drawings.
• Cut, fold, form and assemble sheet metal parts.
• Operate a range of sheet metal machinery and hand tools.
• Carry out drilling, tapping and finishing operations as required.
• Check components against drawings and quality standards.
• Work with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.
