Interaction Engineering in Nottingham is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator to join its growing engineering and fabrication team. You will manufacture and assemble sheet metal components to detailed drawings and specs.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, working with sheet metal, and using a range of fabrication machinery. A practical, quality-focused mindset and the ability to work independently or with colleagues are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, Fabricator or similar role is essential.
• Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience working with sheet metal and fabrication techniques.
• Good understanding of measurements, tolerances and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Measure, mark out, cut, form and fabricate sheet metal components.
• Operate sheet metal machinery and fabrication equipment.
• Carry out folding, bending, drilling, cutting and forming operations.
• Assemble and finish fabricated components to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
