Job summary

Elevaris Medical Devices in the UK is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the production quality team. You will operate equipment to manufacture precision components and ensure outputs meet stringent customer specifications, working under the Quality Manager.

As a permanent, on-site role, you will follow SOPs, assist in production and assembly, report issues, minimize scrap, and keep the workspace safe. Training provided; shift pattern rotates across day, evening, and night blocks.

Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Understanding of customer drawings relating to the parts/components being checked.
• Inspection jobs can be repetitive and requires dexterity due to handing very small parts

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to manufacture precision components after training.
• Set up workstation and follow Standard Operating Procedures throughout production.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Work to standard procedures at all times.
• Support production and assembly to meet specifications and timescales.
• Identify and quantify completed work to ensure traceability.
• Notify supervision of any concerns with components, products, equipment, or facilities.
• Minimise and report all scrap from any allocated operation.
• Maintain safe and tidy workspace with appropriate PPE.
• Perform duties as requested by Team Leader or Manager.
