Job summary

Elevaris Medical Devices is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the Legal, Quality & Regulatory Affairs team in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees, United Kingdom. The role reports to the Quality Manager and is offered on a permanent contract.

You will operate equipment after training, ensure work adheres to SOPs, inspect small precision parts, interpret customer drawings, and maintain safe, clean work areas while supporting production to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience reading customer drawings relating to parts/components being checked.
• Dexterity to handle very small parts and perform precise inspections.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation.
• Willingness to work shift patterns as listed in the job spec.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment after training to manufacture precision components.
• Ensure workstation and operations follow SOPs at all times.
• Inspect products to meet customer quality specifications.
• Support production and assembly to meet timescales.
• Identify and quantify completed work; escalate concerns when needed.
• Keep workspace clean, safe and compliant with PPE requirements.
