Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking a Quality Inspector in Kidderminster (Onsite role) to ensure incoming components meet strict standards. You will work with Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations to uphold technical and quality requirements and maintain traceability.

The role demands hands-on inspection, GD&T interpretation, and NCR handling within ISO/AS9100 environments, offering a clear path to contribute to manufacturing performance and product integrity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a quality inspection role within engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings & tolerances (GD&T).
• Hands-on experience with manual measurement tools.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (8D, 5 Whys, etc.).
• Experience working within structured quality systems (e.g., ISO / AS9100).
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify incoming components against engineering drawings and specifications (GD&T).
• Ensure full compliance, traceability, and documentation accuracy.
• Identify and manage non‑conforming materials, raising and progressing NCRs.
• Use manual inspection equipment to validate dimensions, finishes, and quality standards.
• Support supplier quality performance and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain inspection throughput to meet production demands.
