Job summary

Glasgow-based employer seeks a Quality Inspector with a precision engineering background to own inspection throughout production, including first-off, in-process and final checks. You will program and operate CMM systems while applying GD&T and collecting data for FAIR reports.

The role offers £42,000–£52,000 plus training, progression, 24 days holiday, an early finish on Fridays, and free on-site parking in a respected manufacturer with 55+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and operating CMM machinery.
• Ability to produce First Article Inspection Reports.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 audits and metrology practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect precision CNC machined components across all production stages.
• Operate and program Mitutoyo CMM equipment and use standard inspection tools.
• Produce First Article Inspection Reports and support customer inspections.
• Assist with ISO 9001 audits and quality control processes.
• Work Monday to Friday, days only, with early finish on Fridays.
