Job summary

Owen Daniels is recruiting a Quality Inspector in Alcester for a permanent late‑shift role. You will visually inspect and measure high‑precision metal components to drawing tolerances and carry out first‑off, last‑off, incoming material and final inspections.

You will investigate non‑conforming parts, ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100, and verify inspections before dispatch. The ideal candidate has experience in regulated industries and proficiency with verniers, calipers, gauges, and

Qualifications

Experience inspecting metal high-precision components to tight tolerances.
Experience operating CMM inspection machines.
Experience in highly regulated environments (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil & gas, rail).
Proficient with dimensional tools such as verniers, calipers, gauges, and micrometres.
Positive attitude and ability to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

Inspect products visually and measure them to drawing specifications.
Carry out first-off, last-off, incoming material, and final quality inspections.
Investigate parts not meeting specs and report quality issues.
Maintain ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards and compliance.
Ensure all inspections are completed before dispatch to customers.
