Job summary

Your Recruitment Coach Ltd in Luton (Bedfordshire) is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the quality team, supporting QA, inspection, and continuous improvement.

You'll gain training on specialist inspection equipment and quality management systems, with opportunities to work with AS9100 standards and develop GD&T skills.

This role suits someone with an engineering or manufacturing background who is detail-oriented and eager to grow in a precision engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Basic engineering/manufacturing principles
• Experience reading drawings with GD&T
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• MS Office, especially Excel and Word
• Familiarity with inspection equipment or quality tools

Responsibilities

• Support quality assurance and compliance including AS9100.
• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of components.
• Learn to operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) with training.
• Record inspection results and maintain traceability of products.
• Assist investigations into non-conforming products and support CAPA.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and data analysis.
• Maintain quality records and assist with inspection reports (FAIRs) and metrics.
