Job summary

Premier Work Support are seeking a temporary Quality Control Technician to join our client's team. You will perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process items and finished goods, ensuring standards are met and records are properly maintained.

Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, reviewing batch records and logging retention samples, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to procedures in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a quality control environment.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach.
• Ability to work to deadlines and follow procedures.
• Desirable: Knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing processes or first aid training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks and testing on raw materials, components and finished products.
• Carry out in-process quality control checks in line with procedures and specifications.
• Collect, log and store QC retention samples.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment in accordance with SOPs.
• Review batch records and verify test results.
• Maintain GMP standards, health and safety procedures and a clean working environment.
