Qualifications

• Processing apprenticeship or experience with chrome, cadmium, nickel and zinc/nickel.
• Competent with measuring equipment and reading technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plating operations (cadmium, chrome, nickel, zinc/nickel).
• Perform oven work and cadmium passivation.
• Measure components before and after plating using micrometres, calipers and permascopes.
• Manage chemical additions to processing vats and ensure specifications are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain safety and housekeeping.
