Job summary

Holt Engineering in Downton is seeking an experienced Pipe Bender for a permanent role. The position features a 4-day working week and a focus on precision components in a quality-driven environment.

Salary is £17.00–£21.00 per hour, with five weeks’ holiday and additional company benefits. The ideal candidate will have prior pipe/tube bending experience, be able to read engineering drawings, and work accurately with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in pipe bending, tube bending or tube forming.
• Experience setting and operating relevant bending equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of dimensional tolerances and inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate manual and/or CNC pipe-bending machinery.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, job cards and manufacturing instructions.
• Check completed components using measuring equipment and report defects.
• Maintain tooling and machinery and keep the area clean and organised.
