Job summary

Premier Work Support is recruiting for a PCB/Cable Assembly Operator to join a production team in Medway Towns. The role is hands-on, detail-oriented and requires following technical drawings and procedures to ensure product quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics manufacturing, soldering (SMT and through-hole), cable assembly and the ability to read diagrams. IPC-A-610/620 training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PCB and cable assemblies to defined specifications.
• Solder surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components onto PCBs.
• Operate an SMT pick-and-place machine to populate circuit boards.
• Build cable assemblies using soldering and crimping techniques.
• Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, photographs and diagrams.
• Carry out work accurately and maintain a high level of quality.
• Inspect completed assemblies and identify defects or quality issues.
• Work effectively as part of the production team and independently.
• Complete basic production records and documentation as required.
