Apex Resource Management Ltd in Daventry is seeking a Parts Inspector to join our bespoke automotive restoration specialist team. The role focuses on inspecting, reworking, and managing incoming and in-build components to ensure parts meet exacting standards and production runs smoothly.

You’ll address supplier-related issues, manage quarantined stock, and contain non-conforming parts swiftly. The position offers a day shift with potential overtime and a temp-to-perm pathway.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts inspection, QA or related field.
• Solid understanding of inspection and rework processes.
• Ability to work with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming goods and in-build parts for specs and quality.
• Perform glazing inspections and rework during build to maintain excellence.
• Contain and rework non-conforming parts to minimise disruption.
• Respond to containment needs within 24 hours of issue.
• Conduct line-side checks and stock sweeps for defects.
• Manage the quarantine area and RTV process tracking.
• Process stock transactions using internal scanners.
• Maintain 5S workplace organisation and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with internal teams for clear communication.
