Job summary

Alexander Mann Solutions (HK) Limited is seeking Skilled Inspectors (Paint) for a 12-month contract in Derby. You will inspect shafts before and after paint spraying, ensuring compliance with technical drawings, MDT requirements and quality standards.

Join a collaborative team, follow Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, interpret engineering drawings, and identify non-conformances to deliver right-first-time quality and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship, including City & Guilds, NVQ3/SVQ3, or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental standards in manufacturing or engineering.
• Proactive team player with strong communication skills and collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and regulations, maintaining a safe clean and tidy work area.
• Accurately interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manufacturing instructions to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Deliver right-first-time quality by carrying out thorough inspections and identifying any non-conformances.
• Work within an integrated team to achieve cell objectives.
• Quality check own work and complete relevant documentation accurately.
