Job description

The Role:

Our client is currently recruiting for and level 2 Paint Inspector for a 3 month contract on an HS2 site in Water Orton, near Birmingham. The work will be on highways structures and will include:

• Inspection of maintenance painting works (surface preparation, coating application, etc.)
• Reviewing and understanding various client specifications
• Recommending corrective actions to engineering for evaluation
• Completing inspection documents on computer
• Ensuring inspection and test equipment is serviceable before use

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Paint Inspector associated with a large project
• ICORR Level 2 or NACE level 2
• Construction health and safety awareness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
