Service Service in Norwich, Norfolk is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our established engineering and manufacturing team. You will assemble precision-engineered equipment from components through to sub-assemblies and complete systems, interpreting technical drawings with high attention to detail.

The role requires precise bench-fitting with hand and power tools, use of precision measuring equipment, and a commitment to quality, accuracy and safety while meeting production

Competenze

• Apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent.
• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in precision mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
• Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Mansioni

• Carry out precision mechanical assembly from components to complete systems.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Perform bench fitting using hand tools, powered tools and manual machine tools.
• Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers and slip gauges.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality and safety while meeting production deadlines.
