Job summary

SPT Labtech in Melbourn, near Cambridge (UK), is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join the manufacturing team. You will build instruments from sub-assemblies to final test, receiving full training and support from experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Mechanical Technician or equivalent position.
• BTEC, NVQ or HNC in engineering preferred.
• Hands-on problem solving and fault finding abilities.
• Practical mindset and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products from sub-assemblies to final instrument build and test according to instructions.
• Maintain high attention to detail and quality throughout the build process.
• Collaborate with development engineers to improve assembly processes.
