Job summary

Polytec Personnel Ltd in Melbourn near Royston is seeking Assembly Technicians for a temporary role with potential to transfer to permanent staff for the right candidates.

You will assemble small plastic components in a cleanroom environment, with PPE such as hairnet, gloves, and coat. Training will be provided; prior cleanroom experience is useful but not required. Working hours are 8:00–16:30, Monday to Friday, with rotating early/late shifts.

Job description

Location: Melbourn, near Royston (SG8)

Type of Work: Temporary

Duration: 3 months initially, with transfer to permanent staff for the right candidates

Hours: 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hour week). Moving to weekly shift rotations after training. Early / Late shift (6.15am - 2.15pm and 2pm - 10pm on a weekly rotation)

Salary: £17 per hour

• Familiarity with a glovebox assembly would be beneficial
