Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking experienced Mechanical Assemblers for our Maidenhead, SL6 operation. The role runs 07:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday, in Maidenhead. Pay rate is £14 per hour.

You will assemble, test, and modify engineered components and conduct final QC checks before dispatch, following ISO 9001 procedures. Join a manufacturing environment that emphasises quality and inventory control, receives deliveries, and prepares orders for dispatch.

Qualifications

• Assemble and test range of engineered components and products.
• Modify components per technical instructions and procedures.
• Carry out testing to ensure assemblies meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test a range of engineered components and products.
• Assemble and modify components in accordance with technical instructions and procedures.
• Carry out testing on completed assemblies to ensure they meet the required specifications.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment prior to installation.
• Complete final quality control checks before products are dispatched.
• Undertake training on new products, equipment and assembly processes.
• Work in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures.
• Carry out regular stock checks and support accurate inventory management.
• Receive incoming deliveries and check goods as required.
• Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure goods are ready for delivery.
