Job summary

Senior Flexonics Lymington Precision Engineers is seeking a Manual Inspector on a fixed-term 3-month contract. The role involves inspecting components, measuring parts, interpreting drawings, and maintaining First Article Inspection records to AS 9102 standards. Hours are 39 per week, with core shifts from early morning Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using manual measuring equipment.
• Understanding of drawing tolerances and specifications.
• Experience in a similar inspector role preferred.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings to AS 9102 requirements (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection of components and documentation for conformance to design specs.
• Record non-conformances and liaise with other departments to resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain First Article Inspection Reports to AS 9102 where required.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and control of defective items.
