Qualifications

• A recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• Setting and operating manual cylindrical grinders.
• Good knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling.
• Attention to detail and accuracy and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate manual cylindrical grinding machines (S20/RM2500).
• Grind to tight tolerances and ensure parts meet drawings.
• Work from engineering drawings to achieve exact specifications.
• Support flow plotting activities and contribute to process improvements.
• Grind components to ensure correct flow distribution and performance.
• Carry out work that meets strict aerospace quality standards.
