Job summary

Ethos A&C, a Wencor Company, is seeking a skilled machinist to operate and set up machine shop equipment, program as required, and work with diverse materials while following blueprints and process instructions.

The role involves programming CNC machines, lathes, mills and EDM, performing quality checks, and collaborating with engineers and production staff to resolve issues while maintaining safety and QHSE compliance on second shift.

Qualifications

• Experience operating conventional milling machines, lathes and surface grinders.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and written process instructions.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 drawing interpretation and practical measurement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine shop equipment and fixtures.
• Program machines as required and work with various materials.
• Follow blueprints and process instructions to meet tolerances.
• Work with engineers and production staff to resolve issues.
• Inspect and document machinery for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and QHSE compliance.
• On second shift, 3:20 PM to 11:50 PM, perform duties as assigned.
