Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a weekend shift in a high-mix, low-volume environment. You will set up and operate multiple machine tools, read engineering blueprints, and verify parts with CMM and Renishaw probing systems.

Strong GD&T and editing of CNC programs are required, with safety and quality as top priorities. Ideal candidates have 5+ years CNC experience, an associate degree in Machine Tool Technology, and solid math skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:00am - 5:00pm (Paid for 40hrs).
• Preferably an associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years CNC experience.
• Basic shop math including trig and geometry.
• Ability to read, interpret and edit CNC programs; GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple CNC machines in a low-volume, high-mix shop.
• Meet production targets and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Read blueprints and inspect parts using gauging and CMMs.
• Navigate FANUC controls and verify wear/geometry pages.
• Enter SPC data and support continuous improvement initiatives.
