Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set, operate and program high-precision milling machines to produce components per engineering drawings and customer specs. The role emphasizes quality, housekeeping and adherence to EH&S policies in a rotating shift pattern with a market-leading base salary and shift premium.

Responsibilities include setup and operation of Haas, Matsuura, and FANUC Robodrill centres, first-off inspections, and continuous improvement through Lean and TEOA

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' CNC machining experience in a precision environment.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with Fanuc controls.
• Experience setting up and operating Haas, Matsuura and FANUC Robodrill machines.
• CNC programming experience is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
• Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, fixtures and process control.
• Experience in ISO9001 or similar manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate and programme CNC milling machines.
• Manufacture precision components to drawings and specs.
• Set up Haas, Matsuura and FANUC Robodrill centres.
• Make adjustments to optimise machining performance and quality.
• Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections with measurement equipment.
• Ensure components meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain OEE tracking and support Lean initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production teams to improve efficiency and throughput.
