Job summary

Bosch Rexroth in Cirencester is seeking an experienced Machine Operator / Setter for a temporary assignment. The role demands robust machining expertise to ensure precision and quality over a three-month engagement.

Working full-time, Monday to Friday, 0730–1500 with a half-day on Friday, you will operate and set milling machines, monitor production, and document quality checks while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven machining experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a workshop environment.
• Experience operating milling machines, specifically XYZ SMX 4000.
• Familiarity with Prototrak controller systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set machines accurately to meet production specifications.
• Monitor operations to maintain high standards of quality.
• Adjust machine settings to optimise performance and minimise downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety around the work area.
• Follow and adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
• Complete any quality checks and production documentation as required.
• Identify and resolve minor technical issues during production runs.
