Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group in Ashford is seeking a reliable Machine Operative / Picker to join our manufacturing team on a permanent basis. You will operate a hydraulic press to cut cardboard materials and soft gasket products, and you will handle picking, packing and dispatch preparation.

The role offers a permanent, full-time daytime schedule (Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:30pm) with an immediate start available for the right candidate, and requires good numeracy, accuracy and the ability to work both

Qualifications

• Experience in machine operation, warehouse, or manufacturing environments (desirable).
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operating a hydraulic press to cut cardboard material and soft gasket products
• Ensuring accuracy and precision in all cutting tasks
• Picking, packing, labelling, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Managing stock and maintaining a tidy working area
• Handling lifting tasks (not heavy lifting) as part of daily operations
• Following safety procedures and maintaining quality standards
