Job summary

Moog is seeking an experienced Jig Bore Operator to set up, operate and maintain precision jig boring machines in Wolverhampton. You will interpret engineering drawings, ensure first-off and in-process inspections, and maintain tight tolerances for aerospace tooling and precision components.

The role requires proven experience with DeVlieg and Genevoise machines, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing and quality teams to meet delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in precision machining and working to tight tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Competence with precision inspection equipment and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate DeVlieg and Genevoise jig boring machines to produce precision components.
• Interpret drawings, specs and geometric tolerances to maintain quality.
• Position, align and secure workpieces with fixtures and tooling.
• Perform boring, drilling, reaming and milling to tight tolerances.
