Job summary

HORIBA MIRA Ltd in Nuneaton is seeking an Instrument Calibration Technician to join our Calibration team on a permanent, part-time basis (20 hours per week). This hands-on role supports calibration services across a range of instrumentation, ensuring equipment is calibrated, maintained and documented to industry standards.

The successful candidate will work with internal and external customers, prepare certificates and reports, and help improve calibration methods while maintaining safe

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with instrumentation, electronics, calibration or testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out calibration activities in accordance with approved procedures and industry standards.
• Produce calibration certificates and technical reports.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and equipment databases.
• Support fault identification and investigation activities.
• Assist with the development and improvement of calibration methods and processes.
• Support customer calibration activities when required.
• Work collaboratively to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
