Interaction Recruitment is supporting a client in Wellingborough to recruit a Production Operative for their hose assembly line. You will assemble hoses to specification, perform quality checks and ensure products meet high standards before dispatch.

The role offers a stable, full-time position within a growing manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to read basic technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Experience with quality checks and inspections.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings.
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach.
• Experience with stock taking is desirable.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hoses and components to specification.
• Read and interpret basic drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out quality control checks throughout assembly process.
• Identify and rectify errors before dispatch.
• Assist with stock control and regular stock takes.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets.
