Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Basildon is seeking an experienced customer-facing engineer to support the Precision Guidance portfolio, including SAL Seeker and Compact Seeker products. You will bridge customers and Leonardo engineering teams, driving successful integration, verification, and testing across domestic and international programmes.

The role requires frequent UK and international travel, collaboration with platform integrators and weapon system manufacturers, and a strong technical foundation

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or related discipline.
• Experience supporting integration, verification and testing of complex defence/aerospace systems.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle.
• Experience working directly with customers and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse technical problems and communicate solutions effectively.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and internationally.
