Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking an Encapsulation Technician to join the manufacturing team in the UK. You will be responsible for encapsulation, sealing, and priming of assemblies, while maintaining equipment and supporting production schedules.

Role requires attention to detail, experience with machinery, and a good grasp of mechanical assembly. You will contribute to continuous improvement and uphold ISO9001/ISO14001 and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in manufacturing tasks.
• Experience operating industrial machinery in a factory setting.
• Understanding of mechanical assembly procedures and processes.
• Familiarity with modern manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement.
• Good communication skills and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Carry out encapsulation, sealing and priming of assemblies.
• Maintain encapsulation machines, compressor, vacuum pump and spray booth equipment.
• Plan and coordinate workload with production schedule and other departments.
• Raise production paperwork including non-conformances and stores requisitions.
• Ensure quality procedures, ESD requirements and housekeeping.
• Read BOMs and drawings, work on own initiative.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to ISO9001, ISO14001 and Health & Safety systems.
