Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build and assemble mechanical and electronic components using drawings and instructions, and to assemble and check camera and other electro-mechanical products.

You will inspect finished products to ensure high-quality standards, fix basic faults, perform testing, packing, and dispatch, and assist with stock control while adhering to safety and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly and/or electronic assembly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and careful approach to work.
• Able to work from drawings, instructions and technical information.

Responsibilities

• Building and assembling mechanical and electronic components using drawings and instructions.
• Assembling and checking camera and other electro-mechanical products.
• Inspecting finished products to meet high-quality standards.
• Finding and fixing basic mechanical faults and replacing faulty components.
• Carrying out testing, packing and preparing products for dispatch.
• Receiving deliveries and checking incoming stock when required.
• Helping with stock checks, kit preparation and keeping materials organised.
• Working with engineering team to suggest improvements to products and assembly process.
• Keeping work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Following health & safety, quality and company procedures.
• Working as part of a team while also being able to work independently and meet deadlines.
