Pertemps Coventry Commercial is seeking a skilled EDM - Wire Operator for a full-time, permanent role based in Ansty, near Coventry. The successful applicant will program, set and run EDM/Wire machines to deliver precision components for aerospace and general engineering sectors.

Training will be provided for those with relevant experience. The role requires reading engineering drawings, using 2D CAD, and working to tight tolerances with high-quality finishes in a collaborative, small-team

Qualifications

• Experience in EDM/Wire EDM environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Able to programme, set and operate EDM/wire machines.
• Proficient in working to tight tolerances and high finishes.
• Familiar with shop floor measurement equipment and health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate EDM/Wire machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to position components.
• Use 2D CAD to aid part positioning.
• Maintain high accuracy and finishes on parts.
• Work effectively in a small, collaborative team.
