Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking a hands-on ductwork fabricator to manufacture ductwork from job sheets and sketches. You will work independently, maintaining high workmanship and meeting delivery targets in a busy workshop.

The role requires proven sheet metal fabrication experience, ability to read technical drawings, and safe operation of fabrication equipment. Training and a supportive workshop team are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven industrial experience in sheet metal and ductwork fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches and production paperwork.
• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate ductwork from job sheets, drawings and sketches to spec.
• Operate workshop machinery safely following Health & Safety rules.
• Programme and operate plasma cutting from job paperwork and sketches.
• Load, mark and organise components for folding or machining.
• Maintain workmanship quality and inspect against drawings.
