Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd is recruiting a Dimensional Quality Inspector for a well‑established engineering and manufacturing business in Barnsley. The role focuses on accurate inspection and measurement of components to ensure compliance with drawings and tolerances.

You will use micrometers, verniers, gauges and other inspection equipment, document non‑conformances, and support the QA processes across the plant, working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain high quality

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering/manufacturing with dimensional inspection.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerance specs.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dimensional inspections of components and products.
• Ensure products meet drawings, tolerances and quality requirements.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Identify, report and document quality issues or non-conformances.
• Support QA processes throughout manufacturing.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain quality.
