Job summary

Syntech Recruitment are supporting a well-established precision engineering manufacturer seeking an experienced Deburrer to join their Machine Shop team. You will finish high-value CNC machined components to cosmetic and functional standards before progression through production.

The role offers Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with flexible start/finish times and a permanent contract. A comprehensive benefits package includes a pension, private medical, life assurance, sick pay and more.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Deburrer or in precision component finishing.
• Experience finishing high-quality CNC machined components.
• Ability to produce excellent cosmetic finishes without affecting critical dimensions.
• Experience with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, copper or similar materials.
• Knowledge of rumbling or vibratory finishing processes would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Hand deburring precision CNC machined components.
• Remove burrs, machining marks and sharp edges to high cosmetic standards.
• Carry out precision finishing on tight-tolerance components.
• Operate rumbling and vibratory finishing equipment when required.
• Use files, stones, scrapers, emery, Scotch-Brite, pencil grinders and die grinders.
• Prepare components for anodising, coating, plating and final assembly.
• Read engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Perform final visual and tactile inspection of finished components.
• Maintain housekeeping and tool control standards.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality to achieve high standards.
