Job summary

Vivo Talent is recruiting a skilled CNC Machinist in the Gloucestershire region to set, operate and program CNC Turning and Mill-Turn machines, producing precision components to tight tolerances.

You will read engineering drawings, ensure on-time delivery, and conduct in-process inspections using CMM and other equipment; this role emphasizes continuous improvement and safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship trained preferred.
• Recognised Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Set, operate, and programme CNC Turning and Mill-Turn machinery.
• Manufacture high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings and work order specifications.
• Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Carry out in-process inspections and quality checks using measuring equipment.
• Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
