Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers and bore gauges.
• Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, feeds and speeds.
• Ability to set tool and work offsets to maintain tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of sliding heads.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and/or machining centres using Fanuc control systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Load and call up CNC programs and set work offsets and tool offsets.
• Perform tool changes and monitor tool wear during production runs.
• Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections using measuring equipment.
• Adjust machine parameters and offsets to maintain component quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues and report any machine faults.
• Maintain production records, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and health & safety procedures.
