Job summary

Opus Vitae is recruiting a CNC Setter for a client in Newtown. You will set and operate CNC turning machinery, adjust tooling and parameters, and ensure components meet precise specifications. Reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring tools are essential to verify quality during production.

Candidates should be proficient in G-code or Mazatrol, have relevant CNC engineering qualifications, and be committed to accurate, efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience setting and operating CNC turning machines.

Responsibilities

• Set and adjust tooling, work holding, offsets, speeds, feeds and cutting parameters.
• Load and verify existing CNC programs and edit as required.
• Monitor machine cycles and maintain production efficiency.
• Read and interpret drawings and production instructions.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify parts.
• Report faults and delays promptly.
