Job summary

ROSE & YOUNG RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a 3-Axis CNC Programmer, Setter & Operator in Blaby, Leicestershire. The role is based in the Fabrication Team, manufacturing precision components to exacting customer specifications.

You will program, set and operate CNC milling machines, verify dimensions with CMM, and uphold micron-level tolerances and cleanroom standards. A shift allowance is provided for late shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and process documentation.
• Maintain micron-level tolerances and high cleanliness standards.
• Familiar with CMM-based first article inspection.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate 3-axis CNC milling machinery to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and process docs accurately.
• Maintain micron-level tolerances and surface requirements.
• Perform first-off checks and in-process measurements with CMM.
• Complete process sheets and inspection records accurately.
• Maintain traceability and cleanliness in the work area.
• Follow SOPs and manufacturing processes.
• Identify and report defects or non-conformances.
