McLaren Racing in Woking seeks a skilled Machine Shop Technician to support manufacture of high-quality metallic components for Formula 1 race cars, Aero R&D, pit equipment and heritage programmes. You will combine practical machining with process improvement to ensure safety and on-time delivery.

You will prepare machines, fixtures, tooling and job packs; operate CNC equipment; complete works orders; collect data and drive improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, throughput and reduce

Qualificações

• Time-served apprenticeship or machinist background is required.
• Experience in small-batch precision components is preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation is essential.
• Knowledge of tooling, inspection and quality verification is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare machines, fixtures, tooling, materials and job packs for production.
• Operate CNC equipment and support inspection, finishing, deburring and packing to quality standards.
• Complete works order bookings, tooling records, and planned TPM/maintenance.
• Collect data and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
