McLaren Racing is seeking a skilled machinist to join the Machine Shop team. You will manufacture high-quality metallic components for Formula 1 race cars, aero R&D, pit equipment and heritage programmes, combining practical machining with process improvement to keep operations safe, on time and to exacting standards.

You will prepare machines, fixtures, toolings, and job packs, operate CNC equipment, record production data, and identify efficiency gains.

Competenze

• Apprenticeship or equivalent practical manufacturing experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
• Understanding machining processes, tooling, inspection and safety requirements.
• Experience with Excel/Word; knowledge of MRP/CAD/CAM tooling is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Prepare machines, fixtures, tooling and job packs for production per set-up sheets.
• Operate CNC equipment and support component inspection, finishing, deburring and packing.
• Complete works orders, TPM, and maintenance while keeping a safe, organized area.
• Collect data, identify improvements and implement changes to boost efficiency.
