Job summary

Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well-established UK manufacturer in Cinderford, Gloucestershire, seeking a hands-on CNC Press Brake Operator to join the fabrication team.

You will set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machinery, read engineering drawings, and form metal components to tight tolerances while ensuring quality and safety standards. This permanent, full-time role is on-site with a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• A reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Awareness of health & safety in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machines.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job instructions.
• Bending and forming metal components to tight tolerances.
• Checking finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Working to daily and weekly production targets.
• Handling materials safely, including use of gantry and jib cranes.
