Job summary

Industry Resource Services Ltd in Lowestoft invites an experienced Engineering Craftsperson to join our established engineering team. The role covers manual and CNC machining with emphasis on grinding, turning and milling, reading drawings and achieving tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on machining experience, good measurement skills and a practical, methodical approach. Grinding or CNC experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, machining, or mechanical fitting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding tolerances and measurement.
• Experience with inspection equipment.
• Grinding or CNC experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC machinery.
• Turn and mill operations.
• Internal and external grinding.
• Read from drawings and specifications.
• Measure and inspect components.
• Ensure parts meet tolerances and quality.
• Carry out general machining duties.
