Job summary

Lodestone Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a CNC Machinist at a Sheffield facility for a local medical components manufacturer. You will set and operate CNC machines, work to tight tolerances, and inspect parts using precision measuring tools in a regulated environment.

The role requires apprentice-trained or time-served experience, 5-axis milling capability, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Rotating shifts with mornings and afternoons offer overtime and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or time-served CNC Machinist.
• 5-axis milling or machining centre experience.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience reading tight tolerances.
• Reliable and able to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC machines (Milling and/or Turning).
• Work to tight tolerances and detailed engineering drawings.
• Conduct in-process inspection using measuring equipment.
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
